Anybody else with interop issues around signed AuthnRequests?

Mike from Lynda has managed to demonstrate what seems to be an interop
issue with the newer SP versions issuing signed requests to a handful of
commercial software like ADFS, Ping, and Oracle.

Since this is news to me, and we have no issues with the IdP handling old
or new SPs, I have to ask for any signs of this elsewhere. Does anybody
running an SP with request signing have any commercial IdP partners? I
don't care what SP version at this point, just trying to identify the
issue.
