IDP 2.4 oddity ....

Hi,

I've installed IDP 2.4 on my test IDP machine, alongside my older 2.3 
test IDP.

Using a browser in my desktop I've tried it against one of my test SPs ( 
https://stc-test9.cis.brown.edu/secure/info.php ), got redirected to a 
embedded DS, type "brown", select "Brown Test IDP (STC)", get redirected 
to my new IDP, authenticate, and get returned to the target page at the 
SP. Everything behaves as expected. I can delete the SP session cookie 
and re-access that url, get re-directed to the IDP (where I still have a 
session) and get immediately returned to the SP. Expected behavior.

I decided to try using an iPad, to take a look at the new login page. 
Now it gets weird..... here's what I see ...

I launch Safari, go to my test SP ( 
https://stc-test9.cis.brown.edu/secure/info.php ), get redirected to the 
DS, select my IDP, get redirected to my IDP, login, and get returned to 
.... THE DS.... hmmmm

so I select my IDP again, get redirected to my IDP, and I'm asked to 
login -- I don't have an IDP session...

has anyone else seen this sort of behavior with an iPad ? Any 
suggestions on where to look ?

Don't worry -- nothing real can be accessed from that IDP.  ;-)
