"xmltooling::ValidationException" using ADFS 2.0 IdP with sp.testshib.org

Well, that's the problem, the XML isn't valid in that explicit way. I'm not aware of ADFS generating KeyInfo elements with that particular child element, but whatever it's doing, it's not doing it properly.
