I believe that bug is a possible indication you're using the wrong STL,
the one that Sun includes by default.

So I would suspect CXXFLAGS isn't set to override that with
-library=stlport4

Otherwise no idea. That code section has been problematic on Solaris but I
built it successfully on every copy I had once the const_casts were added.
