IDP configuration in DB

I'm trying to have my IDP configuration stored in DB instead of files, and
would need to understand how to configure shibboleth to load it from there.
Specifically, here are the configuration files that I would like to migrate
to DB:
attribute-filter.xml
attribute-resolver.xml
handler.xml
relying-party.xml
logging.xml
service.xml
internal.xml
+ all metadata xml files (is there DB metadata providers?)

Is this possible?
