Trouble with attributes from IBM

Please forward me any sanitized log snippets if possible. Preferably from
a startup with the failed file. You can send them directly to me
(cantor.2 at osu.edu).

There's no reason that should have required DEBUG. Any validation error
should be reported on ERROR at least.

If you didn't have validate set to true, that might fit, but in that case
you wouldn't likely have seen any mention of a problem.
