Shibboleth IdP and Tomcat 7

Hello,

The Shibboleth IdP is officially supported on version 6 of Tomcat only -
Tomcat 7 is not listed among supported containers.
That's just because it has never been extensively tested on Tomcat 7, or
there are reasons why it is not recommended to use the most recent version
of Tomcat?
