More specifically, there's no way we can manage one on one relationships,
that doesn't scale. That leaves zero-security models like asking an
endpoint its own identity, and federations like InCommon, and we don't do
the former.

Otherwise, you can use ProtectNetwork and get what amounts to a "local"
account. There are a couple of other such IdPs in that list, but they
haven't given us license to just offer them up to users.

Jeff's also correct in that we didn't put a statement about our position
on federating into that page, oversight.
