Mine takes about 10 seconds with 3-4 largish metadata files loaded
including all of InCommon plus 300+ local SPs.

I don't have a ton of attributes, but I do have upwards of a dozen JDBC
and LDAP connectors.

I do have fairly new hardware, with 8 cores per box.
