So,

If "https://localhost/Shibboleth.sso/Status" cannot be displayed but IIS runs for regular pages, it must a filter error then?

After looking at "https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SHIB2/NativeSPWontProtect":

- Check Permissions: the 'native.log' file exists and is updated, IUSR has been explicitly given read permissions to the whole /opt directory.

- Green Arrow: I've not seen the magic 'green arrow' in IIS 7 and google screen shots are only pulling up previous versions of IIS. Would it be in IIS Manager -> Sites -> [specific website] -> ISAPI Filters? If so I have Shibboleth and four ASP.Nets lists and no arrows of any kind for any of them. I saw some dialog online that this icon has been removed in IIS7.

- Site and Request Mapping: I've got <Site> for my site with the ID 2 as listed in IIS "<Site id="2" name="xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"/>". RequireSession is set to true "<Host name="xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"><Path name="secure" authType="shibboleth" requireSession="true"/></Host>". My entityID is not the same as the URL of the test box so I've tried it with a homeURL set and without.

Thanks for the help. I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

JM
