Shib SP logout templates

Is it possible to embed any logic (even SSIs?) into the SP's templates?
I'd like localLogout to issue a metarefresh is the user was logged in  
using one of our IdPs, but to remain on the normal local logout page,  
if the user came from elsewhere.
