Don't have all that much to add to what Chad said, but if the format is an issue, there's pretty strong justification to stick with the ISO syntax that XML Schema adopted, just for consistency. Nothing worse than people adding "simpler" formats to a system that already has to handle the more complex one anyway. -- Scott
