I don't think there is a standard and even if there were it would
probably use the LDAP time format, from back in the bad old days of
X.500, which maybe not be easily parsed by the application.
You might want to take it to MACE-Dir, maybe you're in time for the
eduPerson rev they're working on. Or maybe talk to these folks:
