I wasn't being contrarian just because I'm not on the InCommon list.
I chose not to be on there, nor am I really looking for any new
customers at the moment. I'm speaking with my Shib hat on. The
project has never really liked federations maintaing a separate list
when there is no additional value added (except revenue for the
federation in this case). Having a number of different lists, all
maintained separately but with the same level of actual vetting (none)
spread across the web doesn't make things any better for anyone. It's
just more fragmented documentation that falls out of date.
