xmlsectool.. obtaining schema...

I copied the schema files from that directory for opensaml, shibboleth, 
and xmltooling....

when I run xmlsectool, it says:

> ERROR XmlSecTool - Invalid XML schema files, unable to validate XML

but doesn't provide any further hints about what it doesn't like....

any suggestions about a next step ?
