Ok, is there already a properties file or similar with the English
texts? And for which (IdP) version would this be needed?

I think there is definitely some interest. In Switzerland we have
published (mostly to make user consent more user friendly) attribute
resolver files [1] in four languages already for quite some time. So,
we/you might re-use these attributes as a starting point.
