Note regarding V5 installer

Onto it.  

Just FYI I'm going to push a ton of changes to the installer tomorrow (I hope) which should fix this and also keep it alive for a bit longer.

I've tested running new V5 installs and updates from V5 to V5, but not V4 to V5.  Further I haven't tested that the installation actually works...

You should expect significant churn in the IdP installer for the coming month - I'll try to not break anything but I cannot guarantee continuous service since we need to make some big changes under the hood.

I hope that the first stage will be a description on how the installer will work/be configurable in V5 (TL;DR much like V4 but with better documentation).  I'll open this for review in this mail list, but if anyone wants me to mail them directly please let me know.
