SAML and thick client applicatons using GSS-API

Several years ago Jim Basney and Jill Gammell headed an effort to develop an implementation of these drafts. That old implementation is available at:

https://github.com/fedushare/mech_saml_ec

Like many grant funded efforts, there was no funding for ongoing maintenance and support. Note that the accompanying documentation refers to IDP V3; I don’t know of any effort to use this code with V4. This implementation seems to reference Moonshot code.
