GCM default checked in for beta 2 (was Re: Seeking feedback...)

Added additional examples of the Algorithm filter that can be used to "tolerate" this change.

TBD is the logging improvement, that didn't make beta2, but will definitely be in the release, probably in the default log format. This will replace the current %X field that's a yes/no.
