Hey Dan thanks for bringing this up! I'd also like to use idp-war the
same way to package an IdP with our extensions, because having our JARs
copied over to the IdP then rebuilding the WAR is getting cumbersome
when you have 2-3 CI jobs each dropping it's own JAR there...
On the other hand, I understand the devs reservations regarding the
runtime implementations of the used APIs. We just need to keep track of
these to remember including them in Maven dependencies.
