I just did a heroic integration of the ISAPI plugin on IIS8, and I believe
the group I helped might be willing to test the native stuff to repay that
favor. A brief glance at the docs you cited suggests that this is IIS7+, so
assuming that's correct I could commit to begging them to test with my
support. I'd love for there to be something better than the old ISAPI route
after having groped my way through it. The use of request headers was the
key stumbling block in our case, so avoiding that seems like an excellent
functional improvement.
