SP Startup takes 20+ minutes

Darn. Sorry and never mind. I guess it's friday... :-(

I seem to have the same issue when I try to upgrade a working configuration
from 2.4.3 to 2.6.0. I thought validating metadata had solved it, but had I
been more thorough I might have realized that the improved startup time is
because metadata fails validation and doesn't get loaded.
