MacPorts Shibboleth SP 2.5.5 defunct?

Hello all

A user wrote us that he ran "ports selfupdate" and "port selfupdate"
this week. This updated various libraries and also the Shibboleth SP (to
2.5.5). After the update, shibd does not start anymore and running
"shibd -t" exits with:
Segmentation fault: 11

Starting the daemon with "launchctl load -F
/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.macports.shibd.plist" will start the deamon
but it crashes constantly and is then restarted. So, the following
messages repeat constantly:

We could reproduce this problem with our own Mac Port installation.
Is anybody else experiencing this issue and does anyone have an idea,
why this is happening?
