I'm worried about the slave connectivity. Needless to say, Jenkins doesn't get the benefit of the doubt from me re: security. Using a local VM eliminates that risk entirely, at a significant cost in effort (only significant because I have no experience with VMs under Linux, I'm sure it's not that big a deal).
