I hadn't really been thinking about it at all, b/c it seemed somewhat
far into the future (v4+).  Unless we just *added* Quartz support
alongside the Timers, but there doesn't really seem to be much point to
maintaining both, too complicated.  I'd say we just wait until v4, v5,
etc.
