version numbering inconsistency

+1 to 3.0-SNAPSHOT.

I think I left the version at 2.0-SNAPSHOT because of the line

 "When development for minor version 1.3.0 is occurring on TRUNK, the
POM version is 1.3-SNAPSHOT"

but I think I misconstrued.
