Alpha2 Metadata Error on Start

I'm not sure what is going on either.

Apologies for the simple suggestion, but if you revert your changes to
attribute-filter.xml and attribute-resolver.xml does the problem still
occur ?

Probably not an issue, but to be sure you are loading the
configuration you think you are loading, I suggest setting the
idp.home system property manually. I doubt it, but maybe a different
configuration is being found by the application context initializer.
