Related to this is a question I was going to ask today.

The latest version of SVNKit on maven central is 1.7.8. The latest release
is 1.8. 2: it supports Subversion 1.8, and read only access to Subversion
1.7.

I am wondering whether someone who is not related to the project has "tried
to be helpful" and done the submission - a thought enforced by the results
of doing a search of svnkit on maven central
(http://mvnrepository.com/search.html?query=svnkit) .

Since we are not shipping with it shouldn't matter but it would be nice to
update our local copy to the current one. I know not the ways of Maven, but
if this is possible could someone do it ? This would also detach us from
what is may be a dodgy build on maven central.

If you start here http://svnkit.com/download.php there are various ways of
getting downloads (including a maven repository), but AFAICS none of them
appear to be signed.

/Rod
