You just add it to the contributions page in the wiki. We have no plans to
add any more feature code to 2.4, which is nearly frozen, and the scope of
3.0 is not really open for significant expansion (nor will it support the
same authentication extension API).
When we work on anything that somebody has already done, we always look at
the contributions available before doing it from scratch. I stole a good
bit of the logout hack I built from the logout extension that was done
already, and the consent work in 3.0 is based on uApprove.
We would tend to favor things that are Apache licensed if we were taking
significant pieces of code but I doubt the MIT license would inhibit that.
