The docs on the wiki (including the examples but also the JavaDoc) appear to date to version 0.5.  There was a *lot* of refactoring for 0.6, and those examples definitely won't work on many levels.  Classes have moved around, properties have changed, even the command-line parameters have changed.

We should obviously fix what's in the wiki, but it might take a while.  For reference material at the moment I personally have a copy of the sources in Eclipse projects pulled from the repository.  I realise that's not very end-user-friendly!

If people need examples to look at, I can come up with quite a lot of complex ones (as we're running the whole UK federation metadata build off the 0.6 codebase) but unfortunately I'm a bit short of simple ones.

Dan: let me know how far you've got since you initially posted, and I'll see if I can't get you something that's a bit more useful.  We definitely want more people poking at this if possible.
