The question is whether that's the goal or not. In my case, despite my not
really expecting (or even wanting to some degree) the SP to be included,
I've done what I can to move toward those guidelines. But that doesn't
mean anything packaged as an RPM has to follow that, except where it's
touching system areas (e.g. init scripts).

In point of fact, the constraints simply make Java software unpackageable.
