I was starting on the IdP side because I can probably come up with a workaround more likely than finding the cause of this, let alone providing a fix.

I think you said it was a Shibboleth IdP, no? I wouldn’t have thought the qualifiers would cause a problem to be honest. I thought the default reverse mapping it does would either require them (transient or persistent) or ignore them (anything else).

But I still need to dig. If it’s rejecting them, logs might help.
