I think understanding what on earth could possibly still need this is the main thing nobody seems to be able to spell out.

We’re talking about being able to parse complex XML in a SAML Attribute (which nothing but Shibboleth ever supported in general, though I know this was implemented in a very small number of cases as an exception).

Secondly, what’s the plan to fix it?
