I just don’t happen to recall doing it, though I guess it’s plausible I did it to prevent the lack of a log record as you suggest. I definitely recall having a separate log line for the request/response here vs. the outer one, that is definitely intentional. I would imagine that it’s storing the AuditContext in the nested PRC so that it’s a totally separate set of fields.

As you say, it’s arguable somewhat confusing, but probably necessary.
