I’m still spelunking the logs and I have a way to go. But I am seeing this exception in an error log

2022-10-20 14:46:49,891 -  - ERROR [net.shibboleth.idp.authn.impl.LDAPCredentialValidator:154] - Credential Validator ldap: Error attempting LDAP authentication for 'jdoe'
org.ldaptive.LdapException: Open in progress

I don’t see this in a successful run (sample size of 1). (But thereagain I only see one MetadataServiceResigistry failure in a successful run - and four in the failing case)

Daniel Fisher ( https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?accountId=70121%3A5040b2f7-37ad-4449-b621-76b5c7e66a9d ) what does this error mean? Is there a possibility of a timing issue going on? This has been seen on other nodes but is most prevalent in Windows (I get it about one in 4 runs)
