Agreed. This is one of those “If I’d be wanting to go there I wouldn’t be starting from here” situations.

Having to go around all the touch point’s making it right would be incredibly delicate and difficult to debug and fix in the field.,

I have been within a whisker of closing this as ‘won’t do - too disruptive' many times but only the through that something might be possible for the SP has stopped me. If someone else closed it as won’t do I certainly wouldn't complain. I may well close it myself
