I made a cp -r of my IdP deployment and installed the v5 snapshot over the top. It worked first time, and I was able to interop with the UK federation’s test SP.

Wrinkle: the installer warns that the Nashorn plugin isn’t supported under V5, which is true. It probably works fine, though. No guarantees about any of the others.

Next steps:

* Track Spring Framework 6.0.0-M4 when it comes out (expected 2022-05-11).
* Build a “nightlies” chain for these components.
* (optional) start picking that up and deploying it regularly (I’ve reverted my own deploy for now).
* Start investigating plugins.

Per the discussion on the last developer call, we will probably take the decision to start branching for v5 at the next call on 2022-05-20.
