Ah yeah, sorry, I might have described this poorly. I was taking the scopes off the client’s metadata, not the OP's. I was using Client metadata as a way to store certain configuration options per OP. Which I just kind of made up (based on the OIDC client registration metadata) as a way to store and configure the requests and responses. But probably, as you suggest, either all of that or most of what I currently have could just come from the profile config with defaults and be overridden per OP.
