I presumed an install to a D drive can be symlinked back to C so that the actual path in idp.home could just be slash-prefixed (i.e. assuming such a path is being handled relative tot he C drive by the Java container).

My point is you can install anywhere but use symlinks to avoid mentioning a drive letter in idp.home.
