I think it really depends whether the goal is to detect any duplication or to scan all the sources for a given entityID. The latter is pretty tractable with an enhancement to Chaining I think, and/or maybe a runtime Criterion that would inform Chaining to do that which could be triggered by the mdquery admin tool in the IdP.
