I would disagree slightly.

If we need javascript to start the system then we just to have it as part of the kit. Which is to say we just add the dependency needed to the pom and be done with it. If we decide to go the JDK Nashorn route (and after my travails with Graal I favor that) its just one extra runtime dependency on idp-war

I’d prefer that we didn’t have a need for javascript just to start the IdP. but that might be harder
