I'm going to mark this as "won't fix", with a note tyo reopen if you disagree.

I think we agree that the two panel "federation"/"IdP" display was probably a wrong turning in UI terms and that the search as you type paradigm is working better.

The jsp code for the two pane stuff is still there and it would (probably) not be hard to amend the JavaScript to do the search, but it feels like a waste of time.
