Shibboleth Identity Provider V3.4.8 now available

The Shibboleth Project has produced a "final" cleanup release of the 3.x IdP branch to provide access to a refreshed set of dependencies (e.g., this includes the final version of Spring 4 that will exist and a few other updates). It is now available in the usual forms from the download site [1].

This is the last shipping version of IdP V3 (and OpenSAML V3) as the EOL date is about 2 weeks out. We may, but cannot promise, produce additional changes to the code branches if circumstances warrant as a courtesy to consortium members but will not be producing formal releases of those changes.

If you expect to be running V3 beyond the EOL date for any length of time, upgrading to this would be a good choice.
