I'm trying to solve a problem that has come to our attention from within our university. Some users are seeing stale request errors because their devices (desktop and mobile) are sometimes double submitting the password login form page. I was trying to add
some javascript to disable the form and/or the submit button once submitted but that doesn't seem to be working.</div>

Does anyone have any solutions to get this sort of behavior working on the login form? I can reproduce this error by entering my login credentials and then double clicking the log in button. I will receive a Stale Request error message 100% of the time. And
some users on mobile will be presented with a checkmark from their software keyboard and it will also sometimes submit the form without them knowing and they then proceed to click their software keyboard "Enter" button and also get a Stale Request error.</div>

I was hoping I could put something in the login form to prevent this.</div>
