<p>I do not know which distro you use, but debian packages of shibd
do support FastCGI (at least with the ngx_http_shibboleth_module)</p>
<p>However you’ll have to rebuild nginx (but it is much easier) …<br>

When eliminating the Apache web server in intended setup, we will have to
introduce a rebuild of the Shibboleth SP Packages with FastCGI support
as the shibd does not support FastCGI.
Alternatively, there could be a way forward by using the ngx_http_shibboleth_module
module as Arnaud proposed.
Both way add some complexity and old code. Or do I oversee anything?
