<p class="MsoNormal">We removed the shibnative from the modules and manages to access the page but now got error ‘HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error’<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Even if we tried to stop the shibboleth service, we still get this error. Looks like it’s the issue with the IIS.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We tried to uninstall and reinstall but still got this error. We also tried to do the same to v2. How to do clean uninstall?<br>

<p class="MsoNormal">My team and I was trying to upgrade the shibboleth version in an older server from version 2 to 3.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The shibboleth didn’t work, and the login page is not loaded up when accessing the url.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We thought all of the files are old so we decided to refresh the shibboleth.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We then tried to uninstall the shibboleth, restart, then try to access the /Status page.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Now we receive the error:<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Service Unavailable <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.<o:p></o:p></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">What could be the reason? We didn’t change the metadata but we did add the handler mappings and isapi filters in the IIS.<o:p></o:p></p>
