I'm currently upgrading our Shibboleth test server from IDP 4 to 5. We are using a custom:</div>

that sends credentials to a custom auth web service and recieves session keys which it writes to a cookie which it also reads back before asking the user for his credentials to achieve single signon with various other web applications that use the same auth-service
