Hello everyone,

I am converting a working basic SP setup based on shibd and PHP
to a similar Java-based SP solution.

Shibd simply acts as SSO protecting the landing page, and I
intended to use shibd to protect the redirect to TomCat instead.

So what I've got is probably a misconfiguration of Apache
webserver: I use http_proxy to redirect to tomcat, but as soon as
shibd is involved I end up with a http 404

Type Status Report

Message The requested resource
[/Shibboleth.sso/SAML2/POST] is not available

Beschreibung The origin server did not find a current
representation for the target resource or is not willing to
disclose that one exists.

So it seems TomCat can't deal with the way shibd redirects after
successful authentication.

What is there to be considered?

thanks in advance and have a great day

Stefan
