I think I misread the error initially, so I'm not sure that I have any idea what the problem is, just to correct my initial response.
We don't support that plugin, but if you're a member, you can raise a support issue for it and we'd at least do a bit of forensics on it.

<p>FYI , as you mention "they fix it ..." , I tried to use latest
jars : shib-cas-authenticator-3.2.4.jar and
cas-client-core-3.5.1.jar (instead of
shib-cas-authenticator-3.0.0.jar and cas-client-core-3.3.3.jar)
but the pb is the same .</p>
<p>I also tried to blindly changed "/**/*-flow.xml" to "<b>../</b>**/*-flow.xml"
in system/conf/webflow-config.xml, the IDP servlet did start
without the error I had about I/O ...pattern '/**/*-flow.xml' ,
but then everything (status, SSO ...) failed , so that was not a
good guess ! <br>

<p>Just to be sure I am not missleading here, the answer I mention
in my first request about setting explicitly idp.home (although
mine is default to /opt/shibboleth-idp ) is not a potential answer
