Hi,

I am trying to configure Shibboleth SP with my office ADFS. When I start the SP server, I get this error message:

<b>ERROR OpenSAML.MetadataProvider.XML : metadata instance failed manual validation checking: EmailAddress must have TextContent.</b>
WARN OpenSAML.MetadataProvider.XML : adjusted reload interval to 600 seconds
WARN OpenSAML.MetadataProvider.XML : trying backup file, exception loading remote resource: Metadata instance failed manual validation checking.

When I hit the URL protected by Shibboleth, get the below error message.
<b>WARN Shibboleth.SessionInitiator.SAML2 [1] [default]: unable to locate metadata for provider (https://pslab.example.net/adfs/ls)</b>

I downloaded the Metadata file, and commented out the below lines
<auth:ClaimType Uri = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/claims/EmailAddress" Optional = "true" xmlns:auth = "http://docs.oasis-open.org/wsfed/authorization/200706">

Please let me know if the first problem is creating the second problem, or both are two distinct issue.
